The choices that were most recommended are: Tali/Kasumi(iff you have dlc)/or Legion. For second team leader, use either Garrus/Jacob/ or Miranda. For escorting, choose Mordin, for he has a low defense score and could not survive the firefight the ensues while you battle the human-reaper larvae. as for biotic, Miranda is not strong enough to handle such a strain, and therfore, only Jack, Samara or Morinth (if you killed samara) are acceptable. To save EVERYONE, you must (after getting reaper IFF), talk to legion, to unlock his loyalty mission, allowing one more mission before everyone is abducted. After everyone is anducted, DO NOT do any more missions, and go straight through the relay, or else crew members will be liquified. Make sure to buy the Heavy Ship Armor, Multicore Shielding, and the Thanix Cannon upgrades, or some squadmates may die before even allowed a chance to fight,.
