Nipple Piercing pain? can I handle it?

Okay I have an 8 Ga Prince Albert, and a tattoo on my shoulder. Neither of these was very painful at all. I mean the PA is pierced through such spongy soft skin, and the tats over the deltoid so it just went numb fast. But the are really thick skin, and I've heard they hurt bad, just wondering if I get one done, can I sit through the other one?
