Would John McCain rather lose his honor than lose an election?

I guess the lipstick on a pig outrage was the last straw. His campaign has ceased to merely spin facts but has resorted to outright dishonesty in its ads. There appears to be the same polarization politics employed so well by Bush under Rove's guidance. His campaign has made a mockery of his pledge to engage in a new kind of politics. Is this the price he'll pay to win?
