I have masis and Im taking medicine! Help!?

You and your baby will be fine! I've fed babies the last 30 of 42 months of my life and unfortunately have had mastitis about 6 times. Each time I took Keflex and my baby was fine. Keflex is approved for the feeding mother. If you are worried call your doctor in the morning and ask about the 500 mgs. I know I took 250 last time but I think that is because of my low weight (I weigh 105 pounds). Feel better! I always feel better w/in 24 hours. Remember it's important to finish all the meds even if you are feeling better. You could end up with an even WORSE infection if you do not!
