What items have to go in the hold luggage on a flight now?

Airline policy states that lighters are forbidden even in hold luggage. Aerosols can be taken in hold luggage as can batteries. Mobile phones can be carried on your person but must be switched off at all times. Portable DVD platers can be used in flight but must be switched off for take off and landings. The same applies to cameras.
