Will corporations be more powerful than nation states in the future?

In the past, there was a feudal system and the peasants who worked the land were ruled by kings and queens. But then the nation state came along and dominated the way the world was divided up for hundreds of years. But then corporations came along. And their power grew to epic proportions. Corporate money heavily influenced the ways in which politicians made the laws of the land. Corporate money heavily influenced elections. Corporate leaders made billions of dollars while political leaders made hundreds of thousands of dollars. Will corporations take over nation states in the future? Will the world be divided up according to corporate territory? Will corporations have their own governments and armies?
